Il Pozzo in SorrentoMy sister and I had the opportunity to stay at Il Pozzo during our trip to Sorrento in October. While the excitement of exploring this stunning coastal town was undeniable, our experience at the apartment provided a mixed assessment of luxury versus value. Upon arrival, we were warmly greeted by Massimo, who offered detailed insights about the apartment's facilities and local dining options. The air conditioning, albeit a luxury in Italy, worked effectively, making our stay comfortable. The flat featured essential amenities such as a small kitchen equipped with cookware and utensils, a flat-screen TV, and free Wi-Fi. The shower was notably cramped, which could hinder those needing extra space. While this accommodation provides a functional base for exploring Sorrento's picturesque surroundings, the overall condition of the courtyard was somewhat underwhelming, and our room lacked some features advertised. The noise from the bustling streets can also be an issue, especially for those looking for tranquility. In sum, Il Pozzo serves as a budget-friendly option for travelers focused on exploration rather than luxury. If you seek an idyllic beachfront resort, you may want to consider other options in Sorrento.
